Hear ye, hear ye! Come one, come all to the Georgia Renaissance Festival from April 17th – June 6th, located just 8 miles south of Hartsfield-Jackson Airport on I-85 at exit 61. What exactly is the Renaissance Festival you ask? Why, take a seat, good sir, and I’ll tell you.

The GA Renaissance Festival is a re-creation of 16th Century European Country Fair, featuring excitingly hilarious shows, great food, great music, great people, and great costumes! You feel like you’ve stepped into a time machine as soon as you enter the gates; the festival is lined along a permanent backdrop of Tudor houses and cottages. You can cheer your favorite knight on in the Joust Arena, or watch talented crafters of years past in such acts as glass blowing, coin minting, leather crafting and much more. There are also games that the whole family can enjoy.

Tickets are $19.95 for adults, $17.95 for senior citizens, and $8.95 for children. Kids 5 and under are free.

So don your medieval garb and head out to the festival!

Have you ever been to a Renaissance Festival?
