Labor Day Weekend in Metro Atlanta

Finally! Another three day weekend! Granted, this will be the last of them for a while, so you know that you have to make this one count! Since Stockbridge isn’t far from the Atlanta area, here are some great Labor Day Weekend activities that you can get into in and around Atlanta:
- Chick-fil-A Kickoff Football Game – LSU vs. UNC
- Saturday, September 4th – Georgia Dome – 8pm
- Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Football Opener vs. South Carolina State
- Saturday, September 4th – Bobby Dodd Stadium – 1 pm
- UGA Bulldogs Football Opener vs. Louisiana-Lafayette
- Saturday, September 4th – Sanford Stadium, Athens GA – 12:21 pm
- Atlanta Motor Speedway
- Saturday, September 4th – Great Clips 300 – 7 pm
- Sunday, September 5th – Emory Healthcare 500 – 7: 30 pm
- Dragon-Con Convention – Pop Culture Convention
- Friday – Monday – Peachtree Center – Different hotels
- Hispanic Labor Day March
- Monday, September 6th – Centennial Olympic Park Area – 11am – 1pm
If you know of any other events, feel free to let us know! Everyone knows that Labor Day Weekend is always a big deal, since it’s seen as the end of the summer. I’m looking forward to cooler days, but not to Labor Day Weekend traffic.
