You can’t go wrong with bowling! I thoroughly enjoy it, though I may not be that great at it.
But when I ask my friends, or ask someone whom I’m just meeting what is one of their favorite things to do, bowling is always at the top of the list.
The only hindrance I have about bowling is the shoes. I just don’t like the fact that countless numbers of people have worn those shoes before me. I don’t care that they disinfect them; my piece of mind just doesn’t sit well around the idea. Therefore, I wear at least 3 pairs of socks when I go, and be sure to take them off as soon as I leave, and chuck them in the wash as soon as I get home. What can I say, I’m a germ-a-phobe.
Other than that, I always have a fantastic time when I bowl. And if you can find a place that serves some pretty good food and drinks as well, you’re in heaven. Pin Strikes on Mt. Zion is a pretty fun place to go, that has all that I’ve mentioned.
When it comes to the food, its not gross or stale like some bowling alleys I’ve been to. It’s not a place that I would go just for the food, but it’s pretty sustainable if you choose to snack there. Along with bowling, there’s laser tag, bumper cars, and a video arcade. That’s more than enough to satisfy my inner child.
I’d recommend it to anyone who just wants to have fun.
What’s your favorite downtime activity? Have you ever been to Pin Strikes?
